I have auto download but Ewido still says it's on 968... and if I update manually it says no new update available...strange

We have recently moved to a new update-server. Simply wait a few hours until your DNS refreshes and points to the new IP... ;)

It's now about six hours later, and a few restarts too.. and still no update ???

DNS updates can take up to 24h (update.ewido.net should point to 212.112.236.135)

Where can I put the other IP?

Or must the ISP do this, because of the DNS...

Anyway: here comes a config problem of Ewido in the public eye. Why can't we config that update thing at all...

It's now Monday, 12:42 and still no update here. This way Ewido is getting pretty useless...

Could you please ping "update.ewido.net"? To which IP does it point to?

after I wrote a message to Ewido they put back the updates on the old server too...that's why it works now without any problems.

No, both IPs are valid -> DNS load balancing ;)

I still use the old server... it seems to take ages before the DNS finally is corrected by the ISP's....

The old server is now part in a load balancing server array so it shouldn't be a problem if you still connect to it ;)

I don't choose where I download it from... But Ewdio gives me the updates, so that's cool enough :)
