SpyMonitor is a freeware on-access scanner for spyware, it detects the spyware when it's running in the memory.SpyMonitor is open-source. That means that everyone can download and edit the source so that other people can improve this program.SpyMonitor is always active. When it detects something suspicous, it will immediatly alert you. You don't have to ask to scan your computer before something is detected. But it's recommended that you don't use only SpyMonitor, also use another product. SpyMonitor runs periodically an updater so that you are always sure that you have the latest protection.

* Updates are done in the background
* Some changes are made to the code to make the program run faster and crash less
* Bugs in the updater are fixed

Sorry for this, but I found a link, which stated SpyMonitor is related spyware:

Then what's the true? Can anybody have other information? I would believe that above statement is not true.

Having taken advice from various expert's my findings are that this update is bona fide and correct and that the software in question "SpyMonitor" is not spyware related
