Recommendation for a good free system cleaner…

What are you guys using for a system cleaner? I have heard a few mention CCleaner http://www.ccleaner.com/ and Easy Cleaner http://personal.inet.fi/business/toniarts/ecleane.htm but that’s about it. I don’t care about the registry clean function that some cleaners such as these have, as I have RegSeeker to take care of that. Just looking for something to find and delete some junk in places I have not thought of clearing out manually. Thanks.

All three you mentioned are good. (RegSeeker, Easy Cleaner, CCleaner) I use them all. ;)

I really nice cleaner is from the SpyCop folks, called Evidence Terminator (not to be confused with Evidence Eliminator) it's a great little program, payware though. http://www.spycop.com/products.htm

Webroots Window Washer isn't bad either, also payware. ;)

Also Smart Buster (http://rovatronic.net/SmartBuster.htm) -- the *Swiss army knife* of utilities will flush your computer's toilet with great alacrity. Free, & well worth the price. :D

I use CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/) and like it quite a bit, I found it to be the best that I've used, its very light and fast, I especially like the new "Analyze" feature they added, which allows you to see exactly what the files are, where they are, and how much space they take before actually deleting them, which is a good feature I think, it also has a small, but effective registry cleaner built in, I use the program everyday, I highly recommend it.

I just started using Softes Windows Cleaner and was blown away. You can even run it full time to clean up after programs as they close. Very cool piece of software. The version you download is freeware with some options limited, but not very many.

Nice find -- BUT you might have mentioned that it requires Win2K or XP. It would have saved some of us a wasted click.

I have driving CCleaner, Disk Cleaning Wizard and Softie and all of them trash my Word 2003 options to where I have to reset them. This is not what I want but I do want a cleaning program just leave my Word and Office 2003 options alone. Any ideas. Thanks.
