Spybot S&D nearly always finds one or both of these, Double Click and Avenue A, Inc, when it scans. I am not sure how they get in since I have Adware, and Microsoft anti-spyware in addition to Spybot, Spyware Guard, and Spyware Blaster.

Any ideas, and what do they do other than report my surfing habits?

Both Doubleclick and Avenue A are simply tracking cookies. Since you are using Spywareblaster....are you using it's Cookie protection ? It lists Avenue A....as well as various Doubleclick entries.

As for Spybot....you could use it's "Browser Helper to block bad downloads..." feature which will block cookies such as Avenue A and Doubleclick. If you choose that protection via Immunize....I suggest selecting 'Block all bad pages silently'

Thanks, I am not sure that I had Spyware Blaster set up right. I'll see what happens in the future.

Thanks again,
