How about adding a FavIcon for the GhostSecurity website so the little ghosties can reside in my browser tabs ? :)

Can someone running Firefox confirm that the favicon is also visible on the tab, as well as in the address bar. I can only see it in the address bar and get a blank page icon in the tab with FF. Favicon for other sites (eg. Wilders) is shown in both Address bar and tab.

It shows in both the address bar and tab with Avant Browser.

It might be something to do with my setup, so I just wanted to check.

Jason - I hope you'll stop all other work until this showstopper is solved. ;D

Looks like it is in both places.

Nice one Jason ;D. Yep, shows in both places for me also in FF.

Thanks for confirmation. Looks like a problem with TBE or the nightly build I'm using.

EDIT: If I type www.ghostsecurity.com I get one icon, whereas if I type ghostsecurity.com (ie. no www.) I get both icons. Hmmm... ???

Here you are Jooske, just rename the attached file to .zip. The favicon is inside. :)

I wish I knew what you are talking about . It makes no sense to me as I see NO ghost unless RegDefend's interface is up and I choose show ghost in background and it will float around . what else is there and how do you get it ?

Ahh thanks for posting it, had it now in the www.ghostsecurity.com but nothing in the http://ghostsecurity.com (IE)

Hollywoodpc, the little ghost replacing the IE blue E is the flavicon, a little Ghost-icon.

I downloaded the little one attached to the other posting ( i even didn't change anything to the format!) and opened a new browser to the site, since i have that little ghost showing in the addressbar.

In an old thread in the DiamondCS forum i ever wrote some part about favicons -- see my reply #19 in this thread http://www.diamondcs.com.au/forum/showthread.php?p=3266&highlight=flavicon#post3266
Although old still a rather interesting thread; mind you, due to conversions the text is a bit garbled. Further that was about favicons from bad sources, which have nothing to do with this Ghost Security site of course.

For anyone who has any problems with the bookmark favicon in Firefox, you might like to have a read here (http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,12772452~mode=flat).

After uninstalling Firefox, and removing my Profiles folder, I now get both favicons for both ghostsecurity.com and www.ghostsecurity.com :)
