I have administrator rights on my 2000 pro machine and last night I tried to access the local security policy in admin tools but i get this error message for account policies and local policies....??
Windows cannot open the local policy database.
Access to database has been denied.
I checked the permissions in regedt32 and for the properties (permissions) of local security policy... I have full control on everything??? If anyone here can offer any words of advice it would be greatly appriciated... Or if anyone knows a way to start my security policy over without reinstalling the root. I don't know i've been up too long tryin to figure this out... :( crap Thanks for your time.....
