Now come on....people do move from one forum to another don't they? Ten-forward is an escellent place to hang out...Its just where people go when there is zero activity on their regular forums..and most of them never forget their first visit to ten-forward like me...I keep comin' back again and again!

Imho this quote (TenForward) comes from radio-traffic of police and emergency services, meaning the other side has green light to speak freely.
(That is: without interference from the other side; Because it's a one-way only communication form)

Back to topic, I have a few ideas myself....
I am suspecting some members to run one or multiple aliases down here; in case their ego isn't satisfied with reply quite rapid enough :D ....hm...just a thought...it's up to others to come up with some names that might be related to each other ...:P

Slammer said "I am suspecting some members to run one or multiple aliases down here; in case their ego (?) isn't satisfied with reply quite rapid enough......just a thought...

I too had some thoughts on fingers, digits, reply buttons, airliner propulsion, aliases and Jennifer Garner's cool kick *** moves, this is what came back:

(reply=sticky key+slowtypist =-Q%**/G=stuck in reply box +t = t'/sqrt(1-v²/c²)
x = x sqrt(1-v²/c²) (^_^~)

If you re-evalulate the classical formula E= mv²/2 taking these transformations into effect you get:

E= mc²/sqrt(1-v²/c²) (rapid digit(finger) response)

Expanding this equation gives:

E = mc² + mv²/2 + 3mv^4/8c² + .... (slow reply button)

Which is the potenetial energy content of the mass at rest.(10-Forward)

Also, if 0 < v < (BigBuck)

E= mc²+ mv²/2(Cochise)

In normal circumstances, got together, we are only interested in that part of the energy which is due to motion, so we get:

E= mv²/2 (multiple rapid digit reply responses)

Which is why we can still use the classical formula for kinetic energy in most common situations where "who uses an alias because the reply button is too slow?"

After investigating an ego so fragile it was deflated by a reply button, I abruptly changed careers!!

I got into this doing nano-tech research, discovering and investing in Borealis. Their other technology includes Chorus Motors, an electric drive that overcomes harmonic drag, and produces 300% greater torque at an equal load. They just recently got a contract from Boeing for in the hub motors for faster reply buttons and clicker propulsion. And of course Power Chips and Cool Chips and Potato Chips. .

Hey Marja, Why couldn't you have imparted all of this critical information when we were trying to get suitable propulsion for "Dog's" liftoff vehicle.

As far as 10 F goes, where else could a sane discussion occur about hagments, spagments, jetlagmentation and Duckles. Without 10 F many of these serious issues would never have been addressed. I am confident that Big Buck, Cochise and Blackspear will uphold the tradition of seeking out any threads that require their expertise and zapping where a zap is required.
