Name and Avatar

Just a quick little thread to see where everyone's creativity came from.

What made you decide to use the name you have now and why did you choos the avatar you did? Also, what is your avatar?

Capp is a nickname I received at a job several years ago because of my first name. My whole life people made fun of my last name, but they decided to be unique and started a slew of names making fun of my first name (like guys do) and Capp just stuck.

My avatar recently changed. I had a smoked radioactive symbol which I just thought was cool looking. I found and altered the one I have now. It's a Tribal Chinese star from Metallica and I just thought it looked cool.

What made you choose INFINITY for your name? :)

why I choose that name: various reasons.

most important: I really like that word. unimagineable...

and one day I hope to find a girl that would be my infinity...:)

Personally, it looks like alien eyes to me.

Take the outer circle off, add some color, make it rotate and you've got a pretty cool avatar.

Nothing particularly imaginative about my name ... Mike B. is my name (last initial only, of course), and while I'd like simply MikeB, that's already been spoken for just about everywhere. So I added "Cda" for Canada.

I've found that people see the "BC" part of that and jump to the assumption that I'm out west. Maybe MikeB-Cda would have been better, but what the heck ...

No avatar here, alas. I do have a lovely one over at the avast forums (designed for me by Sasha/Craftec there), but they're a little more liberal with size allowances there and it lost a lot in trying to reduce it even slightly to fit here.

Infinity, what am I going to do with you!! The avatar is Stevie Nicks, we have the same eyes and color hair, but she sings better! LOL!! Got some more cat avatars, but today they wouldn't upload - Cats!!~rolls eyes~ never do what you want them to do!!

Somewhere on Ten Forward there's another thread about names and avatars. I picked greyfox because my hair is quite gray and a fox can be a cunning animal or an attractive, sexy lady. I like to think I'm both. ;) The avatar speaks for itself.

Most here know my story with my name and avatar.
The short version is...
mine had to kind of go along with 'beetlejuice' (the hubby)
and the picture had to be colorful and cute.

Heehee...No creativity at all on my side! I have just used my real name on these forums - I changed my avatar because:

1)Although I like being a silent assasin, I really am not bald and I like to talk a lot, and silent assasins don't talk!
2)I also like to be funny, so I chose Jazz which is a mix of funny character and a hero too..Plus, as I am slightly (and I mean slightly, not what you'd think) fat the picture of Jazz chomping that carrot really pictures me well, as I often keep chomping on some bread...

As for my avatar it speaks for itself.;D It's about the region I live in and I don't want to change it. Maybe a little updating/refreshing, but that's all. ::) :D

The Avatar: The colors with the Mercurie name very cool. The Hawk looks like it is about to call out and swoop down and attack something that it's quick sharp eye has seen. Much the way I like to go after a problem. It all just seems to be for me. Finally I use this name on many forums (not all) chances are good it is me. Unless someone steals it before I get there. ;D

Hi all,
The name comes from my main passion in life, building and riding custom harleys (and if anyone mentions that Orange County Choppers thing, I will be extremely peeved, they are not builders, just assemblers.)
Dont have an avatar as I have the graphic design skills of a haddock and when I looked at a free Avatar site, all my spyware apps went ballistic, so i didnt hang around or download one-see, i am learning.
if any one can help re an avatar , i would be really gratefull.
