Ok heres the deal... i have been bestotted by someone since i was 18 ( now 31 ), and i have been seeing her on and off for the last 13 years... well actually we split up about a year ago. It devestated me of course and i havnt seen anyone since because i was thinking about her far too much.

I have often thought that maybe i should ring her or something, we always had a fiery relationship... lots of arguments and lots of splitting up.. then we would get back together again. People used to say... why don't you chuck that <snip>.. shes no good, ect , ect.

But i loved her.. i really did and deep down the truth is.. i still do but there is no chance of us getting back together thing time... its over, i have no illusions about that. I don't have the same zest for lift now however.

Recently it got to the point where i decided to move on... i can't stay single forever so i started to look for someone to date. I met someone recently and we started dating, nothing serious... there were no sparks flying or anything like that. We have a lot in common, in fact she is eerily similar to my ex girlfriend. My ex girlfriends name was Sarah Louise Smith.

Strangely enough the new girl i met was also called Sarah... when i told my friend i was seeing someone, he asked what her name was and i said.. it's Sarah. He laughed and joked.. another Sarah.. didn't you learn your lesson the first time?

The other day Sarah gave me her email address ... Sarah.L.Smith@somewhere.com.

I asked her... is your name Sarah Smith.. she said.. yeah.. i asked her.. what does the L stand for? She said Louise !

She has exactly the same name as my ex girlfriend.. Sarah Louise Smith !

What are the chances...?
I am one of these people who thinks everything happens for a reason...
What does this mean?

Perhaps God has a funny sense of humur.. or maybe its a kick in the teeth?

Opinions please.

Me, I would think I just got the wrong person the last time, what do people expect when there are so many people with the same names!!

Most fires start with a small ember - the freedom to be yourself and the same for her just might fan the flames into a beautiful, peaceful, warming fire - not a conflagration that consumes every thing in it's path!

It is eerie to meet and start dating someone with the same name I'd imagine.I'd like to believe in fate but I really dont.Maybe though this person will change your life for the better,give her a chance.I wish you the best :)
