I'm currently using Computer Associates EZ Firewall. My 1 year subscription just expired.
If I want to switch to Zone Alarm Free, should I first uninstall CA Ez Firewall?
Would I be better off with Zone Alarm Free firewall?

What ever firewall u choose, always uninstall the old one first. Running 2 firewalls will surely cause conflicts.
I use ZA+ 4.5, whch is outdated and obsolete now but it meets my needs so it stays. ;) ;D

I'm not too sure how they compare but I know its not a good idea to have 2 software firewalls installed at once as they can cause implications for each other.

CA EZ firewall is a repackaged version of ZA. If you want the free version, you better uninstall EZ and get ZA free.
If you don't like EZ I don't think that you'll like ZA any better. In that case look for alternatives. Try before you buy.
