I was trying to download Ewido and I can't because I have Windows ME. Is there a version of it for me?
Thank you!

Hi Moodyone-{ Quote: "I was trying to download Ewido and I can't because I have Windows ME. Pity. :-\

TrojanHunter (http://www.misec.net/trojanhunter/), BOClean (http://www.nsclean.com/boclean.html) and a2 (http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free/) also work on Windows 9x systems so Ewido does appear to be the exception here.

I know this boards DCS, but the question from the thread starter hasn't any clue with it. I know you are a DCS moderator. But your answer to the thread starter doesn't cut wood! ;)

OK Gerard, I was offering an alternative to Ewido for an older version of windows, that is not SPAM just an alternative, you too can suggest alternatives as P2K has but I perceived your reply as unnecessary and not helpful to the the original request in in terms of Anti Trojan software - This is not the "Ewido Antii Trojan forum" and so I was certainly not "Off topic".

Dedicated software vendor Moderators are due to being looked upon being biased when providing an alternative. That said: in case anyone else would have posted in one and the same way, it would have merely been a good suggestion.
Thus: IMO all in all, this isn't spam. Merely a well-intended suggestion. Let's look upon it as it is intended (and would have been accepted without any comment if not coming from a Dedicated Moderator).
regards,
paul
