That was what I was upto when I was gone from the forums so many times [and there weren't exams]
So...
has anyone read THIS book?
-{ Quote: "They found me through the ansible, followed it and dwelt in my mind. In the agony of my tortured dreams they came to know me, even as I spent my days destroying them; they found my fear of them, and found also that I had no knowledge I was killing them. In the few weeks they had, they built this place for me, and the Giant's corpse and the playground and the ledge at the End of the World, so I would find this place by the evidence of my eyes. I am the only one they know, and so they can only talk to me, and through me. We are like you; the thought pressed into his mind. We did not mean to murder, and when we understood, we never came again. We thought we were the only thinking beings in the universe, until we met you, but never did we dream that thought could arise from the lonely animals who cannot dream each other's dreams. How were we to know? We could live with you in peace. Believe us, believe us, believe us." }-

Sorry, no. But it looks pretty interesting. What's the Title, and who's the author?

Suppose I say "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card ?
more assorted Junque from certain booques.
This one should be EZ.. yes?
-{ Quote: "‘When you make love you’re using up energy; and afterwards you feel happy and don’t give a damn for anything. They can’t bear you to feel like that. They want you to be bursting with energy all the time. All this marching up and down and cheering and waving flags is simply s*x gone sour. If you’re happy inside yourself, why should you get excited about Big Brother and the Three-Year Plans and the Two Minutes Hate and all the rest of their bloody rot?’" }-

I'm a huge Douglas Adams fan...can't wait for the movie.
I keep hoping they'll make a movie from one of Terry Pratchett's books...that would be very interesting!

Movies never come close to the books, tho, they came the closest with Tolkien's Triology, THAT I did enjoy as well as the books. Most of them, forget about it!
