IE Blocking not working, item checked, then protect, then it 'unchecks'

Hi,

New user, new post, thanks for looking!
v.3.2 on XP
Using Spybot and Adaware as well scan for trouble

I go to the block list and find it has 194 items not blocked.
- <rt-click> select all
- then click on protect
seems to succeed, but then these items are un-checked automatically and still appear 'red'

Try doing it one at a time and it still doesn't work...

They are NOT in the permanent ignore list... it is empty.

Any ideas?

Which protection are you speaking of....the ActiveX, Cookies or Restricted Sites protection ?

Also....what type account are you signed on with when this is happening....Admin, Power User, User....etc ?

They are Active X controls

I was not the Admin user... changed to aAdmin and that resolved the issue.
- noted that admin did not have any blocking done, but when I blocked all for that user, then other user also had all blocked.
