Hello one and all!
All eScan users should take notice of the following things:-
(Using the latest build i.e 2.6.518.8)
1)If you want to control which databases are used by eScan, then follow these steps:
- Go to your eScan directory
- Search for Eupdate.ini
- Open it
- Search for the following lines:
MAIL_AVC
ADVWARE_AVC
PORNWARE_AVC
RISKWARE_AVC
X-FILES_AVC
Set the values to 1 or 0 to determine whether eScan will use these bases. Changes will take effect after next update.
2) In the same Eupdate.ini, search for this line:
SciptScanningEnabled
And set the value to 1 to enable the Kaspersky Script Checker. Changes will take place after next reboot.
Cheers,
Firecat
