Becky! Internet Mail is the software specifically designed for the Internet e-mail.
Since its birth in 1996, we kept improving its functionalities listening to the users' feedback. And it has become one of the most successful shareware e-mail products.
Now, we totally renewed the program as Becky! Ver.2.
Our main aim for ver.2 is developing more stable, fast, and feature rich program without losing its most important virtue -- Ease of use.

Thanks for posting this, MTM, because I had wanted to check out Becky mail but (erroneously) thought it would no longer be available since the Becky's forum closed down. Obviously, the two are separate, and it's good news for me and I'm sure a lot of other folks.

Thank you MTM :D I have been testing Becky2 along with the bat!, Pegasus and Calypso. So far I truly love Becky2. It is low on my resources and it's fast. I also appreciate the PGP plug-in as I will not use a program that does not support it. I have found it easily customizable and flexible. It is great for serious emailers! I'm glad there will still be a place to get advice and share experiences. Keep up the good work--I certainly appreciate it.

I've not seen that many people trying Becky not falling in love with it ;)

And yes Becky's forums and Becky Internet mail program are 2 different entities.
Carty will be addind link to my BB on his site.
That, and the yahoogroup should provide all the support one ever needs.

MtM, does the same rule apply to Becky Mail as it does to O.E., that you're only safe when the viewer is off? I looked at some screen shots of Becky and I see it has a viewer, that's why I'm asking. I would have to assume that the same rule applies, but if somehow Becky Mail can allow the viewer to be on safely, that would certainly be a major advantage right there over O.E. (At least O.E. allows that vulnerability to be over ridden.)
