Multi-address emails

I get these emails which have been passed on from person to person, and now have 287 addresses on them. Outside of sending the email to yourself and putting the other addresses in BCC, are there other methods of preventing the addresses from showing up on the email of the recipients?

I just usually 'cut' all addresses off of 'forwarded' emails if I am going to send them on.
