Hi,
Is anyone using Gmail notifier (http://toolbar.google.com/gmail-helper/index?promo=gdl-en) ? or the mozilla extension firefox extension (https://addons.update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=173) ?
I assume they are different apps?
Are they safe? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Buck.

" }-I've used the Gmail notifier for quite some time and never had any problems with it. Also used psGmail, but I suppose Gmail modified something, because it doesn't work anymore. :-\
Just downloaded the mozilla extension. It's nice to get notified within FF and when clicking on the icon, it opens your Gmail account. 8)
Gmail notifier is active in your systray, as for the extension it only works when your browser is open. So definitely different apps who do almost the same.
As for security it never gave me problems, but I'll leave that final judgement to the experts. ;)
