Hello and Happy New Year everyone!!

Just had to rebuild my PC and I'm getting the shutdown crash problem mentioned in these threads:

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=49425&highlight=shutdown

and

http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=49201&highlight=shutdown

I can't find the Shutdown_XP-LNSFIX.exe anywhere anymore, so I've had to turn off the DNS option as suggested.

Does anyone have the exe file?

Frederic - does the new beta driver fix this problem ?

Thanks
SimonW

I've PM'd Phant0m himself about the whereabouts of this file. Hopefully he should reply soon.

Yes, the new beta driver contains a new options which supersedes the DNS option available in Look 'n' Stop GUI.

Thanks - I'll try the latest beta and see if the problem has been resolved...

[Quick update]
Just swapped to the new driver and changed the registry keys. I guess when we get the new release it will remove the existing DNS entry from the GUI Advanced Options dialog then?

Tried the DNSTester leaktest and Look'n'Stop brought up the allow/deny dialog so everything seems OK. Just hope that the crashing at shutdown has gone for good as well :)

Any idea when the new version will be available?

Many Thanks
Simon
