Just installed and went to update from behind a proxy server at work, no go. Error message says "There was an error getting the update information file from the server. The server may be temporarily unavailable, or there may be a conflickt with firewall software installed on your pc. The update information file may have also gotten corrupted during download. Please try again soon."
How would I enter a proxy address to go through ? or is that necessary ?

SpywareBlaster *should* automatically pick up and use any proxy settings you have configured for HTTP in the Internet Tools applet in the Control Panel. Right now, there is no other way to configure the proxy server, but I'll hopefully have a fix in the next version.
If you wish to manually download the latest files:
Download sbdatabase.dtb from here: http://www.wilders.org/HTMLobj-1540/sbdatabase.dtb
and sbinfo.dtb from here: http://www.wilders.org/HTMLobj-1541/sbinfo.dtb
Copy both of those new files over the existing files in your SpywareBlaster folder and run SpywareBlaster.

I don't know if this is related to the other thread, http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=6084 but I just did this (d/l'd these two files directly into the SB file and overwrote the ones there) but am still showing an update listed at 1/3/03 when I run the update utility from inside SB. Did something get hacked?
NOTE: Because of the problems being reported by others I did not accept the update.
