Hello, Everyone: i just tried to update SpywareBlaster 1.0 and a screen came up and said i would have to go to the website directly to install new 2.0 version in order to get updates! so i thought i had to uninstall the old version first, so i uninstalled from the add/remove program but i could not delete the Program files Said "access denied" I found the exe in the registry and deleted that, thinking i could go back and delete the program file too, but No Good! How should i handle this? I'm using windowsxp home edition, Thanks, Tom

press control alt del and shut down the program first.
then delete the files .....
the best program I have found for removing registry entries
is registry crawler.
I use it to do a manula search of the registry for program references.
example search for spyblaster or Gator or doubleclick
you get the picture...
