Remote assitance

Hey all i use msn 6 and want to use the remote assitance option?.. since installing adsl i cant??? do i need to open a port? i use a dynalink modem?..on ethernet?... win xp pro?.. but usually go through msn to use remote? Audio works on msn but not remote? can someone show me how the easy way im not that bright with pc's thanks maddawgz

and i turned of all firewalls still no go?
