The reason why many people call marketscore a spyware or scumware application and suggest removing it isn't so much what it does, which is bad enough, but the potential security risks of all traffic including online banking etc going through their servers

And the fact that a very high proportion of people do not willingly install it but it is foisted on them with various other applications includiong P2P programs
