I have created the bootable meida for floppy & this works fine (but very slow since it needs 6 disks !
So I tried the bootable CDROM
The disk seemed to be created OK - no errors or warnings, but when I tried to boot from the CD - nothing.

Looking at the CDROM in explorer, there deosn't appear to be any code to run on the disk.
I have Nero 6 installed, latest version - Dont use INCD -
Platform is Windows XP SP2

Hello David Tunstall,

Thank you for using Acronis Disk Director Suite (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/diskdirector/).

Please note that Acronis bootable rescue media (full version) is based on Linux and you cannot see Linux boot files in Windows explorer.

Please try to boot your computer from CD again and let us know what messages you see.

Thank you.

To ask the obvious question, is your BIOS set to boot from the CD drive?

I thought this might be the good threat, don't want to open a new one.

I was wondering if it is possible to create a boot disk with multiple acronis products (like true image and disk director).

tnx

Hello Enyan,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis products (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/).

There is nothing impossible. But in the meantime Acronis company doesn't support this ability.

Thank you.
