Why NetRadar was included for detection in AA

There’s a new technology that’s adding fuel to the already fierce debate over privacy on the Internet. It’s a piece of software called NetRadar that can spy on groups who are using the Internet to exchange information and to organize.
* *The software will be used primarily by Fortune 500 companies and local police. It will enable them to gather information on groups such as hackers, protestors and disgruntled employees.

No amount of legislation will prevent this sort of thing, no matter how despicable it is. *If the law-enforcement agencies don't use it to keep so-called "free citizens" under surveillance, marketing companies will. *The technology exists, and it will not be denied.

Democracy, like privacy and personal security, is dead and stinking as it molders in its grave. *God bless America. *God help the rest of us.

that appears to be a key legal issue....fe: what consitutes retention=how long retained. * *it strongly appears that this is the "loop-hole" *. * I can't offer a url on this issue..several months ago I research it though.
