Unable to restore domain server

I have created an image of one of my domain servers. The image checks out just fine. I am wanting to restore this image onto another server but I am having problems with the server starting after the image has been restored. The error I am getting is "Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem." Also, "Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware."

Am I doing something wrong? The server has been set up identical to the domain server. Please advise
