windows xp *yuckkk help

a frind of mine has xp i tell her it crap has more holse in it then a speghiti strainer lol.

need info on secureing xp from attacks as i am unfimilair with this horrid os.

i knew 6 months or more befor xp was realeas of course it had another name it went by that it had a big hole microsoft excuse was if a hacker wants in he will get in anyways so why bother fixing it or secureing it exact words lol.
