AVAST 4.5.0 Error Messages

AVAST 4.5.0 and the earlier 4.4.9 from ALWIL SOFTWARE seem to have a "Page Default" error which only occasionally prevents an initial virus scan in the 'THOROUGH MODE' with 'ARCHIVE FILES' enabled. I'll try to catch the details in the crash box next time, but for the moment, is anyone else running this version with WIN 98 SE and having this issue? (Reloading the program a second time allows a proper run.)
