Agent-> FreeCap -> TOR -> NNTP

Having some trouble setting these programs up:


I'm trying to use Agent, TOR, and FreeCap to connect to a non NNTPS (not the one you see in this post).

Agent: Starts from FreeCap

localhost
port:119
Authentication with name and pasword.

Freecap:
localserver
port: 9050
Socks5, no authentication

TOR:
Loaded with default settings.

I get this message when trying to connect to the NNTP server using FreeCap to start Agent and TOR running:

TOR:
[warn] conn-read<>: Unhandeled error on read for OR connection <fd 976>;remaining.

Then after a few tries, teh same message with "giving up".

Agent gives this error:
Error reported by winsock driver: Unknown error: 288

What is agent? Have you tried using SocksCap(free for personal use) instead of FreeCap?

Agent is a news/mail reader.

I've found that for some reason sockifying news readers with freecap doesnt work. You need sockcap.
