First, I'm impressed overall with the TrueImage products although I seriously suggest that Acronis become more active in their forums and defend their products to avoid new comers from getting the wrong idea about the products!
I'm experiencing a problem when I attempt to backup an Exchange 5.5 server (I'm only interested in backing up the boot partition, not the Exchange mail data).
The server completely hangs just before I have a chance to browse to the location where I wish to save a TI image. More precisely, it hangs at the moment the INFORMATION box appears ("if you already have the full disk backup, we recommend to create the incremental disk....").
This seems like a permanent freeze up along with the mouse and keyboard freezing too!
I've waited about 2 minutes before I shut down and restarted the computer. Should I attempt waiting longer? Perhaps, I should try an older or newer version of TI?
I'm using TI Server Edition version 7 Build 613 on a Windows NT 4 SP6 (Server edition). It's a Compaq server with RAID 5 but I have an identical server that did work successfully with the TI Server edition.
Thank you,
Shawn
P.S. I don't see a whole lot of activity from official Acronis reps here.
