still don't use it. sure there are a lot of sites that render better with IE. But give firefox a little time, as fast as it is making headway there will be more incentive for the webmasters to accomodate the alternative browsers. Who knows in a couple of years maybe IE will be an alternative browser.

No, actually it's the webmasters that are designing against W3C standards and following MSIE recommendations that cause the problem. Yes, some sites render better with IE because they are not in W3C compliance. Firefox is a W3C compliant browser. Shame on Microsoft (again).

that is what I said, as firefox gets more of the browser market the webmasters will have more incentive to accomadate the alternative browsers and the heck with IE. ;D ;)

I hope to see IE become an alternative browser, and its competitors become the main browsers.
Somehow I feel that using IE to surf websites nowadays is just too risky. The security holes and exploits in IE make the whole situation seem even more scarier than ever before.

Strange how many professional sites rely on ActiveX components, so on IE, to secure content ::)
