I want to copy from damaged hard drive 20GB to another hard drive 40GB. But it said no not have enough space for completing the operation. The hd 40 GB are empty!!! This funny! The hd 40Gb with partition FAT32 and without partition still said not enough space. Why? This BUG?

I think you have made a mistake in saying what Acronis Tool you are using, Acronis Disk Editor will not copy or clone anything, it is for Editing the Boot or Partition[s] Information on a HDD, and should be use with very great care.
If you mean Acronis Migrate Easy, or Disk Clone [a tool in TrueImage] then if the 40GB HDD is all ready formatted, you will get a warning as it [which ever] can not migrate or clone to to used space.
You should let it delete the used space so can it [which ever] can migrate or clone.
Hope this is of some help.
Take Care,
