avast uninstaller

hello, i saw bellgamin and RejZoR talking about an avast uninstaller resently, but i cant find the thread now. i want to uninstall avast, and think i need it to make sure it uninstalls properly. can you show me where the avast uninstaller is? thanks :)

im going to uninstall avast, do i uninstall first, then run the uninstaller? or just run the uninstaller? thanks

who should i PM? RejZoR. no, im not in a hurry, i want to run another scan before i uninstall. :)

If you have chance to uninstall avast! through Add-Remove Programs,then do this first. After you're done,restart machine. When you boot again,use uninstall utility on remained folder of avast! (just select it in avast! Uninstall Utility).
When it prompts you to restart again,you don't have to. In case you removed it only with avast! Uninstall Utility,then you have to restart.
There was also a Brutal Remove method in my tool,but its probably obsolete with avast! 4.5 release (i didn't update it yet).
