I am trying to use MigrateEasy 6 to transfer an NTFS partition from a 1.6GB disk to a 120GB one. I have opted to use the Manual Upgrade process because I want to create a larger NTFS partition and a Linux Partition on the target drive. However when I get to the Partition Selection page, the Icon for my existing partition has a red flag on the drive symbol and when that is selected and the following Partition Size and Location page brought up, the selected partition is not displayed. I cannot find any reference to the flagged icon in the documentation, I assume it means that the partition has some problem that MigrateEasy cannot cope with. I have checked the disk for errors and there are two bad sectors, but it is otherwise o.k. Any ideas what might be wrong here (and what can I do to get the migration to work)?

Hello CJE,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis products (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/).

Please contact support@acronis.com and include the following information in your message:

1) The full version of the program you use (you can find it in the Help -> About dialog).
2) Please download Acronis Report utility available at http://www.acronis.com/files/support/AcronisReport.exe and run it, create a report and send it to us. This would provide us with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.

Thank you.
