Hi, I'd like to know if nod is fully compatible with WinXP Home edition. Too many people said me many AV softwares were in conflict with XP. It seems that Norton AV is really compatible but I don't want use norton, I want keep my computer safe !!

I was really enjoying NOD, running under Win98. So please tell me there isn't crashes between nod and win XP ;D,
Regards,

PS for the admin : I'm usually a registerd user but today I didn't succeed to login. Have you changed the logins and pass ?

Nothing has changed. Let's keep this one out of this thread/forum. Drop me an email with user name and password: webmaster@wilders.org

We've had isolated reports of problems arising on individual XP machines, but unlike many other antivirus vendors we can honestly say that we've never had a generic problem with XP. (An antivirus program which arbitrarily deletes all the email you've been storing for the past ten years doesn't strike me as having been adequately bug-tested before release ... and two "big name" antivirus programs have recently been widely reported on the Internet and in the media as doing just that.)

The Eset development gnomes take enormous pride in their work, and they have two clear ambitions ... (a) to maintain NOD32's reputation as the world's #1 antivirus system and (b) "Do no evil" ... and these are the very reasons why the almost-completed next generation NOD32 has not yet been released.

We already know the new version is the world's best virus detector ... we've been using it in-house for weeks ... and the latest beta looks like it needs only a few small cosmetic touches (which could be tidied up overnight) to be ready to Rock'n'Roll ... but the gnomes won't let it out of the cage until they feel confident that it's as close to "fully compatible with every operating system" as possible.

It will be worth the wait! :)

Jaewyn,

This is the NOD32 support forum; it isn't the "bash other antiviruses" forum ;).

Nothing wrong in being curious ;) - but we are not in the habit of bashing other software over here.
