Hi Labrie!

Some of us in America have started to call it 'Thanks and Giving" day. To be thankful for our health, family, parents, children, warm housing, pets, you can see where this is leading. :) The giving is to whomever needs a helping hand, as so many do. It also is the official start of the Holiday (Christmas) season, so giving seems especially right!

In ten-forward, there is a thread called "Turkey Day is Coming" that explains it all alot better. Check it out!

Who and what you thank is entirely up to the individual, most thank their Creator, first - then family and so on. Then MOM for cooking the turkey!!;D

Cheers!

As to what or who to be thankful for is easy for me this year. Used to take a lot of things for granted but after my Heart Attack on Sept 5th things changed. I thank the Doctors, Medical Advancements, Friends and Family that made it possible for me to be here today.20 years ago the know how wasn't there. I also thank my god in a special way.

I also thanks the Troops no matter where they are from for doing their job which allows me to be able to post this.

Happy Thanksgiving all.

Grand Dad

8) Thanksgiving, while it is associated with being an American holiday, is a day that can be celebrated anywhere. To all who try and make this old world a better place, to you I give my thanks. The rest as already stated, I am thankful for.

Thanks

Granddad, (If I may call you that?)

I, too, am glad for you! Some of the modern "advances" are truly wonderful, and it's great they were here for you!

Much Health and Happiness to you!! :D

To all at the Wilders Forest:
Fellow Creatures,
For those who celebrate Thanksgiving Day, remember it is set aside for a special day. But this does not mean that we must only give thanks on that day and that day only. From time to time through out the year try to remember someone who helped you or a close friend and just thank them.

And in that spirit I would like to thank all here at the Wilders Forest who take the time to post. Many spend hours in an attempt to just help someone they may never meet (press some flesh). A labor to help their fellow human being in many matters not just on how to secure their machines.

Many thanks from your friend MERCURIE. THANKS.
