Help Please

When I click on Spyware Blaster to open it (in order to get started) it will not open. I downloaded the Microsoft Visual Basic Run Time files also, and it did not help. I removed and then re-installed Spyware Blaster twice, and it did not help. Can someone tell me how to get it to open?

it should open by just double clicking the spywareblaster icon on the desktop?

Tried that, doesn't open. Can't figure it out!!!!!
