If anyone here uses Diskeeper 9, could you please tell me a if it has a boot defrag? If so, how good is it? Is it safe?

I have not used version 9 yet but I have been using DisKeeper for several years now and yes there is a boot defrag. I am using the latest build of version 8 currently and have never had any problems, so in my experience it is totally safe....

Cool because my brother in law is buying for me because I fixed his computer. I wasn't supposed to know about it though, his wife let the cat out of the bag so to speak. I don't turn down anything free. ;)

9 is supposed to be a lot better than 8, so I am sure you will love it ;) ... DisKeeper is one of my "do not do withouts" ;D ...

Try perfectdisk 7.0, it does a better job than diskeeper 9.
I use perfectdisk 7.0 for my computer, it's excellent!
