If I use Process Guard would I still need this program also? Fingerprint http://www.2brightsparks.com/freeware/freeware-hub.html Or does Process Guard handle this area, so no need for Fingerprint? Thanks.

Hi Westward flow, {QUOTE-> Or does Process Guard handle this area, so no need for Fingerprint? Thanks. <-QUOTE}
Fingerprint is useful for checking files using MD5 hashes.
ProcessGuard does this for every .exe that is run and or changed but also does a whole lot more in protectiong running processes at kernel level.
Please check out the full specifications and capabilities here:

I've used FingerPrint for a long time. The two complement each other, and really don't overlap each other.

The main purpose of FingerPrint is to perform hashing, in order to show you which files on a given partition have changed since the last scan. ProcessGuard does some hashing of its own, but for a totally different reason--to make sure that only authorized executables run.

Thanks to Pilli for your help.

Special thanks to Nameless for your very helpful comparison between the two apps. ;D
