-{ Quote: "Whenever a new one is posted from various sources like HPguru,MVPS" }-or whenever I find a site I want to add myself.....

Also about once a month I will clean it out so if sites were removed, I can be up to date on that also...

I do it about the same way that Puff does. I just try to keep the list as up to date as possible.

Just another note.... I use Ray Marron's Hostess (http://accs-net.com/hostess/) to mange my hosts file. It is a great little program!

I update it fairly regularly ... as I combine entries from a few different sources, plus I add in a few of my own.

Another simple host management proggy is OK Host file Reader ... I don't have a link handy ATM ... It use to be available from Shaw@Home / DL's section ... although I usually just edit the file using notepad.

LOL - I have a whole folder of backups on the HD & a CDR ... as I tend to be a packrat when it comes to host files ... ;D
