Folks,
I thought nod32 was supposed to catch keyloggers/spyware.So I read the help docs and i done what was suggested that is click on "potentially dangerous applications" etc etcin the on demand scanner setup.I downloaded a keylogger (netobserve).Scanned it and Nod32 said it was clean.
Did I do something worng or did nod32 mess up ?
BTW, I also downloaded other keyloggers and but nod32 picked none of them .i had some spyware crap as well but nod32 forgot about it too

Hi Banshee, welcome to Wilders.
Can you please send the files to Eset: samples@nod32.com
Nod32 is heading down this path, though it is early days yet, the more samples they have the better the product gets...
Cheers ;D

Those files need to be submitted to Eset then, so they can add them to their database...
Cheers ;D

howdy,
well, what eset could actually do is run a search on google for spy monitor or something and all those, or most of those loggers would pop up.add them to their database and most of the job would be done.dont ya think?

before nod even brought out the update with advanced heuristics and pot. dangerous apps, it picked up on keyloggers for me.
