I have good and bad to tell.I used true image on a friends pc who's hard drive was about to die and it worked beautifully ,but it was a sata to sata clone.
Now i tried it it mine as im moving interstate so i wanted to take a hard drive with me , but the cloned image was an ata to sata and it gets to the windows logo and thats it. So i'm guessing it has something to with sata drivers i need on the drive so can i assume it cant be done or can it be done and load the drivers after. Any advice would be fantastic.

thanks

Assuming you are using Windows XP, boot from the XP CD and go to Recovery. When logged into the OS use FixMBR as suggested by Andrew in this forum.
