ZoneAlarm Pro v3.5 has an optional Web Filtering component. This component basically asks the provider of the web filtering service (Cerebian) if the url you are trying to browse to is "ok" or should be blocked based on what you have selected to filter.
I was provided with the following privacy information regarding this service:
-{ Quote: "Cerberian does not collect the user info on the browsing-filtering. In fact, all ZoneAlarm Pro users share the same identifier, so they can't tell one from another. (And yes, they ignore the IP address--yours--that sends the URL.) " }-
I figured I'd pass along this useful information for anyone wondering the same thing. :)
Best regards,
