As spyware frustrates, technology companies feel heat

-{ Quote: "The people who call Dell Inc.'s customer service line often have no idea why their computers are running so slow. The ones who call America Online Inc. can't necessarily explain why Internet connections keep dropping. And those who file error reports with Microsoft Corp. don't always know why their computers inexplicably crash. " }-

Dell doesn't give them much help, the forum is run by volunteers, thanks to them I still have a puter to use!! If it has been up to "Dell", I don't know where I would've gone or done, found out about security forums through their volunteer forum.

NOW, they are going to put out or back ad/spyware progs. NOT any of the ones the volunteers suggested though. Couldn't make any money on them, I guess! Not impressed with Dell at all anymore!

Why don't you buy a new PC from Packard Bell.
