Just curious - how big is your Firefox's bookmarks.html file ??
cheers, stalker
/EDIT: Uhh sorry I forgot, mine is currently 558 KB and quickly growing (and sometimes shrinking), with few things that are quickly getting old, like forums posts' collection, etc., in a separate file (if I would need those links later or whatever)

I bet just about everyone has a bloated bookmarks file and needs to slim down a bit. I only have a 433kb file right now and I could even get it down some more if I would take some to do so. One thing that would be useful is a bookmark and favorites validator. Any good free ones available?

Thanks! I'll try it out. I could use a broadband connection in times of validating tons of links! :)
The software looks to have some great features.

I imported all my bookmarks from IE. In addition to that, I have another folder in bookmarks titled "from Internet Explorer".
I'm running the checker now.
These bookmarks go back several years.

I manage mine fairly often and keep it to a minimum....
16.4 KB (16,819 bytes) actual and
20.0 KB (20,840 bytes) on disk.....
(9 folders with about 90 mookmarks)

About 42K.
The difference between actual and on disc size is due to your 4K cluster size.
