I can't increase free disk space on any partition

I'm a new user of Acronis Disk Director Suite 9.0 build 518. I'm currently running a windows 2000 server box with service pack 4 installed. For some reason I can't increase free disk space on any partition. Once it tries to begin the resizing operation I get the following message: Unable to resize partition with bad blocks.

I have scanned my drives for errors and bad blocks but everything is fine. Can anyone let me know what is going on?? Thank you.
