View Full Version : Invisible partition/OS

Is there a way to install with OS Selector a complete OS on a separate partition, so it is completely invisible?
Meaning that you only for example can start from a bootable CD, and that the new OS on a separate partition doesn't mess up any other partitions, boot sectors, MBRs or whatever.
That by simply deleting that second partition all traces are gone...
Any suggestion is welcome.

You can create up to four primary C partitions. Use the bootloader to set one of those partitions ACTIVE so you can boot to that partition. The other 3 partitions will be invisible.

Thanks nod32_9 for your answer.
But do you mean the bootloader from Acronis OS Selector?
Because then you still have the OS selector soft that appears during boot, indicating that there is another OS or partition, asides from what you can see in Disk Management off course. But that is not so obvious or visible at first glance.
Any feedback is welcome.

The OS screen will show two OSes. You can set a default boot OS or you can manually select the other OS. There is usually a user adjustable time delay for this operation.
