I am using Acronis MigrateEasy to migrate from an 80GB hard disk with two partitions to an 80GB hard disk. However the process is failing when copying the first partition. The error I get is:
ERROR: Unable to read disk 1 sector 20783165 (Retry, Ignore, ignore All)
At that point I have to power cycle the PC. Any ideas?
Richard.

Never a good Idea to post your email address Richard, you might get spammed.
It a long while since I used MigrateEasy but I think it does not copy Partitions only the full Disk to Disk a Clone, but I might be wrong.

Hello Richard,
I have found your request in our system at support@acronis.com and will reply to you soon via email.
Thank you.
P.S. TheQuest, you are completely right! Acronis Migrate Easy allows to clone only the entire hard disk drive to another one. However, the process of cloning is splitted into several steps... and Richard means that the error occurs when Acronis Migrate Easy clones the first partition.
