Yeah it is, i've had a few corrupted zip files that my AV couldn't scan, I hope they have fixed it like they said in the article.

Well this should be manly a mail scanner problem since On-Access always detects it in unpacked form. Mail scanner would pass the attachement through as clean while its not clean at all. But again it should be detected upon extraction to local disk.
