Server and clock should all be fixed now. There might be a few threads where some posts are still out of order though. :-\
As to the problem... well, our hosting company was doing some transparent work on the server. :D Though I think opaque is a better word than transparent, given how it went. ::)

:-\ And poof you were gone. Don't do things like that, I am pairanoid enough as it is.
This may not be the correct place so place it where is should be if required.
A long time poster over at AntiVir/PE has packed it in. This individual has been a big help to many people over the years. Thoes who were helped by Noop should go to the site at AntiVir and thank him for his many years of service.
Thanks
Wildman

That is the problem good free help is usually way overworked and they have a tendency to burn out. it has happened on this forum also. I am not saying that is what happened because I don't know. But that is a pretty common occurance.

I noticed. The contrast is better now. Too much blue earlier.
I believe LWM changed the colors. Just a guess.

Well, not as satisfying in black, to me the print looks thinner too.
Really thin lettering, seems like it will be harder to read a bunch at a time, maybe not, we will see. (Hopefully :o!)
Does the lettering look different to any one else? Or should I get my eyes checked?

Yeah, I'm trying a different color on the names. I agree the contrast is better with black, and I was having trouble seeing the difference between members and global mods. I may try a few other colors.

-{ Quote: "i dont want you to think i spend my whole time at the bottom of the forum, but to me it looks like lurkers are still blue :o" }-Ah, good catch! The colors are based on usergroup and that one was in the joined but not confirmed / activated usergroup, so they still showed in the default blue. I've fixed that now.
I'm not sure what you are referring to in the second image though? If you mean the lower section, that being 'newest member', they always show in that color. Even if the newest member account is an admin, it would still show in default blue down there.

-{ Quote: "what i ment was it wasnt new members that were blue, but lurkers ;D" }-Yes, I answered that... It wasn't "lurker" from the first image, it was that they hadn't activated their account. (You were talking about 'smiler' in the first image, right?)
Exactly which member are you referring to in the second image. I don't see any in the wrong color from here?

smiler, yes a lurker or unactivated account

yep, none the wrong color. no problem
but, i was talking about rnd or is it rud? just trying to show that it was lurkers, and not newest members which were the wrong colour, which you have fixed, because rnd was newest member with 1 post and black, unlike smiler who was still blue and a lurker. or maybe i mean unactivated account.
sorry if im not making sense ive rewritten it afew times and am getting confused now. i'll just finish with this. to me i see no problems all fixed now :D

Lately, when I try to reply to a thread, it goes through a bunch of changes in the navigation bar? A couple are 3w's.company7.com,3w's136bxp.com, is that something my puter is doing or normal? I never noticed it doing so, until just last week or so???
(Does the lowly no-stripe posters' names have to be the color of mold?!?!? Just asking:-[)

" }-"a thread" is the key phrase regarding this issue. The "Pre-Halloween antics" thread has a number of offsite images embedded in it, and so when you display the page(s) containing those images in that thread, or reply to it (and the reply post range is big enough to access the specific posts in that thread), then yes, your browser will access the webservers where those images come from.
This post (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?p=281547) has a half-a-meg image linked from company7.com, so you can't help but see that displayed in your navigation bar as it loads the image. Many ten-forward threads have such images linked in them, so you will see such things as you participate in there.

Unless, of course (and probably not a bad idea with dialup, especially in forums with lots of big images), you go into your CP here and de-activate the display-images thingie. 8)
