Does TI 8.0 make use of the archive attribute when creating a "full backup" image and subsequent "incremental" images??

Hello Ed,
Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/products/trueimage/).
Do you mean that Acronis True Image 8.0 should check if the file has archive attribute and only then include it into an image? In this case the answer to your question is "No". The thing is that Acronis True Image doesn't create the backup of files, it backups sectors.
Thank you.

That's what I meant. Thanks for the info. I assume this also means that TI 8.0 DOESN'T use "archive attribute" in creating an incremental image??????

Dear Ed,
Yes, you are right.
Please note that Acronis True Image create images of partitions, not files. So an image includes all files that were present on the partitions regardless of their attributes. The only files that are excluded are pagefile.sys and hibernation files.
Thank you.
